Simple! All the Testament Legalities were nailed to the cross with Jesus. Jesus is the only Son of God, begotten and not made like us. He is the Logos, and one with the Father. God is Spirit and Light! Jesus' light and the Father's light are the same.

For instance, any attempts by the Jews to reconvene animal sacrifices in their Temple, should it be rebuilt would be wholly disgusting to God, because His only Son made the only sacrifice (as a sacrificial Lamb/A korben) that was and ever will be pleasing to God.

The animal sacrifice was in the Old Testament. It is a legality. The Jews were sent to Babylon and across the world because of their stubbordness and hardness of heart. In the last case, it was because they missed the time of their visitation of their own Messiah (Yeshua/Jesus) which was always clearly in their holy books--if they had only looked.

Does this mean that God calling Homosexuality an abomination is no longer valid. Or, the 10-Commandments are no longer valid? Not on your life! That's because unlike the fickle Muslim Allah, who frequently changed his mind to please Mohammed (because Mohammed made Allah up), "there is no chance of the Lord turning back" from what He has said.

What He said (animal sacrifice, no work whatsoever on the Sabbath, and even NO Usury--lending for gain, etc., etc.) applied to the Jews.

Jesus made it quite clear that He had established a New Covenant. He railed against the Pharisees for following the "legalities", and at the same time not following the Commandments. The two greatest of which are: (1) Love God with all your heart, (2) Love your neighbor. Paul told us that no Sabbath, no works, no not eating any food, etc would be ANY LONGER pleasing to God. Only Faith in the Lord Jesus and repentence of our sins to Jesus is pleasing before the Father.

God implanted in our hearts the Commandments of God; and the realization that there is a God. We are all programmed with it. That is why, for an atheist to stand before God and claim he/she was not aware ---will not stop them from being damned.

Tithing is illegally being used by very many Pastors to keep their ministeries going. It's like a scare tactic.

True Children of God know that we are NOT and never were saved by works--like TITHING... Faith and the grace of the Lord Jesus is the only way we are saved.

We also instinctly know where and when we should help our neighbor. Loving your neighbor does mean caring for them. So, helping your neighbor is a SIGN that you are a true Child of God.

I don't know how anyone with the spirit of the Living God, who is all love --could keep from helping others. But mandatory Tithing and reverting back to the legalities Jesus freed us from? Not on your life...
