Stede you mentioned that you hoped that kids wouldn't buy into all that and realize that the force is Jesus.....
Have you noticed in the last 5 years though the younger generation being more turned on to christian values? I see more kids now days wearing t-shirts with something depicting the salvation of Jesus than I do seeing kids wearing t-shirts with metallica on them. I see more youth joining church, and going to christian bookstores to buy christian music, and buying bibles. Christian music is making its way over to the mainstream radio stations. More christian movies are being played on television and in the theaters than ever before. Scientists are discussing Jesus and the whole concept of creation more. 20/20 just aired a show on friday night called "Resurrection" which I thought was really good.
I mean it is as though Jesus for once is getting more recognition than he has in decades.
I call myself a work in progress in terms of being a christian. I'm angry with God at the moment but at the same I still love him.
But even with all this going on inside of me.. I notice these things around me happening amongest our younger generation.
Jesus said in the last days he will pour out his spirit upon his sons and daughters. I see this happening. It is like Jesus is a fad or "new thing" quickly sweeping the country among our youth. Hopefully this will continue because this country needs more than a mop and a bucket to clean it up.
