In his excellent book "The Holotropic Mind", Stanislav Grof says :

To believe that human beings evolved from some primeval scum or chemical ooze from some ocean water and the random interactions of atoms and molecules is like believing that a tornado blew through a junkyard and accidentally created a 747 jumbo jet. And a single human being is infinitely more complex than any aircraft.
