Maybe this will help some of you to understand a bit from what I was trying to convey through that interesting read on the website "death and transfiguration" It is fascinating stuff. Farfetched? Perhaps. But, it is still being investigated, and perhaps we will definetly know the truth to it all someday. Physicists are not giving up. I am enthralled by this. My mother died and was brought back to life with some interesting vivid details of her heavenly encounter that got me thinking. Even I, as a young child experienced something not of the normal in a supernatural kind of way that I have spent my entire life reliving over and over in my head of how could that have possibly happened to me. I am a logical thinker- a see it to believe it kind of girl. I have to have answers to all my questions. I don't like cliff hangers. But I can not help but think there is something to all this string theory phenomenon. IT is so fascinating!!

Who knows- perhaps one day we will be able to time travel- to teleport ourselves just like on star trek!! That would put a halt to airline biznuss. WE wouldn't have to rely on oil. ;) LOL!! oooo what possibilities.

IF humans keep searching we'll keep finding more and more of God's wonderous mysteries.

Four biblical texts support string theory’s parallel dimensions.

String theory is a theory of everything, which picks up where Einstein left off, and seeks to reconcile the two conflicting theories of physics. String theory offers an elegant mathematical model which seeks to describe and predict all matter and energy, but there’s a catch—the math suggests 11 parallel dimensions. That is 7 dimensions in addition to the 4 observable dimensions we’re familiar with. Just a few years ago this would have been considered crackpot science or science fiction. Today, it’s cutting edge, and the race is on to demonstrate and confirm the mathematics. As strange as it sounds, string theorists may be offering support for some of the more puzzling events of the bible. Not only does the bible support string theory, it supports it from several different perspectives and at least four separate biblical references.

Elijah, Enoch, and Philip were translated from this earth; hinting at the authenticity of some of the claims of string theory. The notion of a physical body, disappearing without trace— delves beyond the observable dimensions we’re familiar with, dimensions that proponents of string theory have been probing for some twenty years. The Bible offers four references to three occurrences in which men were translated from this earth. Although the biblical text refers to these events as translations— two of these events suggest temporal translations into parallel dimensions. One of these translations is temporary. "Philip", disappeared from the observable plane or dimension, and reappeared some 25 miles away, to continue with his ministry. (Acts 8:38-40) The Biblical text offers the least about Enoch’s translation, but refers to the event in both the old and new testaments. Enoch, like the others, pleased God, walking by faith. Enoch did not experience death, nor leave behind any remains— suggesting that he didn’t die, but went somewhere. In fact, the word confirms exactly that— that God took Enoch.
(Genesis 5:24) And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. The following text from Hebrews provides a few details of the event; emphasizing that the event initiated in response to Enoch’s faith. (Hebrews 11:5) By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him- for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Elijah was translated in a similar fashion.
(2Kings 2: 11,12) And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more and he took hold of his own clothes, and tore them. In the last few verses of the 8th chapter of Acts, Philip’s translation event engages some of the more bizarre elements of string theory, adding significantly to the probability of travel between parallel dimensions. Philip, disappears as did Enoch, but after his translation, Phillip reappears later in Azotus, some 25 miles away, and continues his ministry. He not only left this dimension, but was able to return to it in a time and locat1on of his choosing. Acts 8:38-40 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more, and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found at Azotus, and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea. From a slightly different perspective, Philip disappeared after baptizing a eunuch who had just professed Christ. The eunuch did not disappear, suggesting a pre-existing difference between them. Philip’s spirit spilled over into that other dimension triggering something which enabled not only his translation, but his reappearance. This suggests that something inside Philip connected differently in this other dimension, that Philip had a pre-existing presence in both dimensions.

This sense of spilling over from one dimension to the next, is consistent with string theory’s arguments for gravity as intact independent force. According to some theorist’s, gravity seems weak to us among observable forces, but the electromagnetic forces, which appear strong to us; are isolated to this membrane, to this dimension.

Gravity though, is unique, in that it is capable of moving between membranes or parallel dimensions. The electromagnetic force, among others, is restricted to this membrane or dimension. Gravity—is like our spiritual nature. It appears weak, but in reality it is strong because it can translate from one dimension to the next. This is just one more instance in which string theory seems to coincide with our understanding of God and our spiritual significance.

One additional reference supports Philip’s connection with a parallel dimension. Acts 8:26
And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
This episode with baptizing the eunuch and Philip’s translation; is dependent upon these directions which he received from a spiritual being, a being not observable from the four familiar dimensions.
These scriptures then seem to confirm the parallel dimensions of string theory. They suggest that it is possible to depart this dimension—travel in both time and distance, and reemerge intact. With Elijah however, the bible and string theorist’s get intimate. Elijah was translated in a similar fashion, but seems to engage parallel dimensions in advance of his departure. 2 Kings 2:1-15

And it came to pass, when the Lord would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan. And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.

And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the Lord God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over. And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha.

Having no necessity of revisiting ground already covered with Enoch and Philip; let’s focus on the Elijah’s parting of the river. With this demonstration and the repeat performance of Elisha’s use of the mantle to part the waters; the Biblical text again coincides with string theorist’s assumptions with regard to gravity being a special independent force able to transcend and spill over into multiple dimensions. Of course, among Christians, this is a long held view of the spiritual force or spiritual realm, but it is currently the passion for theoretical physicist. The biggest atom smashers are engaged in crashing dueling high speed atoms, in an attempt to record the translation of Gravity into a parallel dimension. This is accomplished by detecting the absence of gravity in the wake of a collision of atoms. If physicists are able to detect gravity by its absence, they will have proved a pivotal fragment of sting theory, sighting both the existence of parallel dimensions and the ability for some special forces or entities, to commute between them.

Elijah seems to have demonstrated this principle ambidextrously, parting the waters with his mantel, when present and from the confines of a separate dimension, after his translation. Moreover, this incident suggests the ability to communicate between dimension or membranes, and that some forces may be able to stage events in dimensions in which they are not presents, which suggests a higher order in these unobservable dimensions. That certainly jives with God’s revelation; that he hardened the heart of the Pharaoh.

String Theory or “M” Theory, suggests a total of 11 dimensions including the 4 familiar dimensions of time, height, width and depth. That leaves 7 dimensions which we cannot currently observe. This comes in rather handy in explaining several forward looking principals.

Jesus said that he needed to go and prepare a place for us. Since God created all that we see in six days, and Jesus has been gone some 2000 years; this amounts to a massive construction project, which is as yet invisible. That invisibility, is consistent with the bible, which states that the eye has not seen, nor the ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, the things that God hath prepared for those that love him. These 7 unobservable dimensions coincide nicely with scr1pture, allowing the Lord a place to prepare our intended kingdom—undetected.

One element of Elijah's translation event suggests that he may have offered Elisha a brief tour of heaven when he parted the waters. Just prior to the second parting the waters, Elisha asked the question--"Where is the Lord God of Elijah?" The parting of the waters and dry ground created in response to Elisha's question, is consistent with Rev 21:1.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

The word 'New," in "new earth," does not mean brand new, but rather--remodeled or re-maid. Not all water is absent in the re-created earth, but the major bodies of water which divide the land are removed. The land is said to be married or made whole, just as man is made whole. It would appear that when Elisha asked about the where-about's of God, he was immediately given temporal access to the re-created earth, hence the dry ground. This also suggests that the new earth was parallel and existed simultaneously with Elisha, but was not observable.

They just might be on to something with this string theory. It coincides with the biblical text mentioned above and the faith Christians have expressed for centuries—principally that we are never without the presence of God through the Holy Spirit.

In follow up investigations I have discovered several additional references which seem to authenticate String Theory’s alternate dimensions. This temporary translation is from Peter’s incarceration in Acts 12
Acts 12:6-11 And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews. At first Peter thought this was a vision, but it was not a vision, for when the angel departed he was outside the prison. Clearly this was not a vision, as a vision could not have physically touched Peter, as verse 7 proclaims. Leaving the prison undetected and the gate opening—suggests this event may have transpired in a parallel dimension.

This particular Angel had a score to settle with Herod, who had placed Peter in prison. Later in the 12th chapter of Acts the angel assaults Herod who is then consumed with worms. Is it possible that Herod is translated temporally into a parallel dimension where the worms had been prepared? Acts 12:21-23
And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a God, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

The next event also involves Peter, found in Acts 11: 4-10 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying, I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me: Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat. But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth. But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven. At first Peter is describing a vision, but then, in verse 6 he claims to witness the materialization of the visions with his eyes. (that is—some translations offer that wording)

Acts 11:27-29 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch. And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar. ] Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:

In this event Agabus shares what he has seen in the spirit--through the spirit. He enables these men to see what he has seen. Moreover; these men are convinced that this is a vision of the future. Both of these events seem to refer to a parallel dimension in a different time, however Agabus's rendering in the spirit, is sufficient to inspire these men to send relief. This tends to indicate that they understood what they had seen as real--though it was obviously distinct from the current state of affairs.
