Christians aren't bound by mandatory Sabbath worship

When Jesus died on the cross He released Christians from any and all mandatory holy days including Saturday worship. Nobody ever could keep the Old Testament Laws. If you missed any part of them you were convicted of them all. If you washed your pet after your pet was sprayed by a skunk on Saturday, you had just broken the Saturday Law.

Jesus established a New Covenant/A New Testament.

Christians traditionally have thought it best not to "Judaize" and have chosen Sunday worship over Saturday worship. Because Sunday was the day the Lord rose from the dead. Even Sunday worship is not mandatory.

Paul told us we are to worship God every day and not just on any particular holy day.

Also, just so you know--Old Testament things such as required tithing were also nailed to the cross with Jesus. These were the "legalities" Jesus railed against. Some Christians want to return to these legalities. It's like volunteering to be chained all over again.

If you return to the Laws that were made for the Jews, such as mandatory Saturday worship--you might just as well return to animal sacrifices, and stone every woman convicted of adultery. Aren't these Old Testament Laws?

When you are born again, you know with a certainty what is right or wrong. You know thou shall not kill, and to honor your parents, etc. There is no need for the formal Old Testament 10 Commandments for a Christian. Those were made for and given to the Jews.

Faith in the Lord Jesus is the most important thing. The Old Testament Saturday Worship was NOT made for God. It was made for man. And Jesus, who favored the Sabbath to do His work (miracles and ministry), and to walk and talk with his Apostles through grain fields, is the Lord of the Sabbath.

Why is it that the "good thief" was promised to be with Jesus in paradise that very day? Do you suppose this thief may have stolen or even murdered, or even didn't worship on Saturdays? It was faith in the Lord that set this man free.
