Making sense of Nostradamus, Malachy and Fatima

It has been reported that Pope Benedict will be visiting Turkey in 2006. Let's watch....

We all know how Muslims love to abduct people...
Nostradamus prophesied that the Vatican would open up close ties with Turkey, but then a cardinal would be abducted there and held hostage. He also mentions a delegation of cardinals traveling to Turkey to bring the law of Christianity to the Muslims. Will the Pope go there offering an "olive branch" of peace, thus fulfilling Malachy's 11th century prophecy of a Pope known as the "Glory of the Olives". Also, if one links this with the Fatima Prophecies it gets more interesting. There is the possibility that the Third Secret of Fatima was not fulfilled with the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II in 1981 as suggested by leading cardinals after the release of the Fatima transcript in June, 2000.

The quatrain 2.97 regards a pope and his entourage -- all of them -- coughing up blood when visiting a city watered by two rivers.

Romain Pontife garde de t'approcher, De la cité que deux fleuves arrouse, Ton sang viendras aupres de là cracher,Toi & les tiens quand fleurira la Rose.

Roman Pontiff beware of your approaching,
Of the city where two rivers water,
Your blood you will come to spit in that place,
Both you and yours when blooms the Rose.

There is a prophecy of a "great pope" who is kidnapped near Turkey and who dies in captivity in another country farther east. But at the heart of this vision still is literally about the murderous attack upon a pope, and upon those making the journey with him, "by a group of soldiers" ... in a city that is half-destroyed and littered with corpses.

And this still to come per Nostradamus:

A great War and a great Comet....

The great star for seven days will burn,
The cloud will make two suns appear:

When the great pontiff changes his land.
