You say that you desire to keep the Commandments of Jesus, who was God in the flesh. Look at Exodus 20 and start keeping those Commandments with all your will. These are God's Commandments, not the Commandments of men, as so many keep.

I see no one answered your question about the true Sabbath, it is the 4th Commandment, Jesus, who was God in the flesh remember, said to remember this day, to keep it Holy. He went so far as to Sanctify and to Hallow this day, no other day received such as the 7th day.

There are believers that do not keep the pagan holidays that engulf our country, I suggest you just keep seeking, but I will tell you it will be a 7th day Church. And it is not the Adventist because they keep all the holidays. It is sad that most people who keep the Sabbath, are meeting in their homes, as to not be corrupted by outside influences and doctrines. There are some Sunday worshipers who do not keep holidays, but they break the 4th Commandment.

Salvation is first believing in Jesus, who was God, and then do what he said. John 14 v 15 "If you Love me, keep my Commandments. Now of course one is not going to obey God, unless first they have faith in him. Having faith in him, is shown by ones actions, doing what he said to do.

Now is it true that all one has to do is say, Jesus I make you my lord and Savior and your saved, the answer is a resounding no.

Look in Matthew 7 v 21 where Jesus states, "NOT EVERYONE who says TO ME, Lord, Lord, SHALL ENTER the kingdom of Heaven, but he WHO DOES the will of the Father in heaven."

If you will read verse 22 you can see that many will be amazed that they can heal people, as well as prophesied in his name, so one would think that these people also profess Jesus as their Lord.

But as we can see in verse 23 Jesus declares to to them I NEVER KNEW YOU. You see for him to know you, you also have to know him. John 1 chap 2 verse 3-4 tell one how you can know God, if you keep his Commandments.

This is the only way you can know him. That is God's word, he tells us (BY THIS), which means get ready, he is getting ready to tell us something big.

So we see these people, even though they called on his name, and did many wonders, they did not know him, which meant they did not keep his Commandments, because that is the only way one can know him. That is scr1pture.

Now also in verse 23 we see he says YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS. Now we see what they were practicing, because Jesus says what they were practicing.

We must look at John 1 chap 3 verse 4 "Whoever commits sin, also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlesness.

Ok now we know Jesus tells them this is what they are practicing, lawlessness, which means they were sinning. Romans 7 v 7 tells us, what tells us, what sin is. Paul makes it clear that it is the Commandments, God's Commandments, that if broke, is sin.

So in verse 23 of Matthew Chapter 7, Jesus not only tells them he never knew them, (They were not keeping Commandments), he also tells them they were practicing lawlesness, (also breaking the Commandments).

So now we know why Jesus said, NOT ALL WHO SAY TO ME LORD, LORD will enter into the kingdom of heaven.

It is because not all, like verse 22, who call on his name, (do what he said to do). He is saying that only those who obey what I said to do, enter into heaven, those who know him, and how can one say they know him, only if they obey his Commandments. John 1 chap 2 v 3-4

So I say, that urge you have to keep the Commandments of God, go with it, and in a big way.

By your question, I would guess that you are not a new believer, but that you were testing to see what answers you would receive from the people on this board. I could be wrong, but for a New Believer to know about Sabbath, Pagan holidays, and Commandments in general, is a very rare thing.

But if you are a New Believer, all one can do is tell you to keep reading the word. John 6 v 63 says the word is SPIRIT. So if you continue to read these Spiritual words, they will transform you. Like what it says in Ephesians 5 v 26 you are cleansed by the washing of the water by the word.

What that means is, just like water cleanes the outside of your body, the word washes the inside of your body. I love that verse. God Bless
