I have often wondered if we might have tasks or jobs in heaven---not jobs of drudgery, but fun jobs ("and his bond-servants shall serve Him." Rev. 22:3) I think heaven will have structure, but time will be different and there will be no language barriers. I think we will continue to learn and grow as I think omniscience belongs only to God. One thing that intrigues me in the descr1ption of the New Jerusalem are the pearls that comprise the 12 gates. Once there, I hope to study these to see how they are constructed. There is so much more, but I don't want to clutter up your message board. I hope more people will respond to this post. "Keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth." Colossians 3:1-2
