Arrested for "Prophet" Mohammad image

Police in India's Uttar Pradesh state have arrested a publisher for a sketch of the Prophet Mohammad in a book.

They said the drawing was likely to cause outrage among the Muslim community as images of the Prophet are considered blasphemy in Islam.

Why do you suppose that is?

Do you suppose any rendering of Muhammad would have to show him as he was --armed to the teeth and ready to rape, plunder and murder his way across the Arabian Peninsula --for personal gain and personal enjoyment. After all, we are speaking here of a guy (Mohammad/Muhammad) who did no miracles and made no prophecies to speak of. A guy who led a pretty despicable life.

But this artist inception of Mohammad in this BBC story portrays another Muslim lie. It tries to take the 7th Century terrorist Mohammad to Jerusalem, during the 1st century time of Jesus.

Fact is--Mohammad had never even visited Jerusalem--ever.
