GENESIS 14:10 states; "And the vale of siddim was full of slimepits (tar or oil wells on the surface); and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountains."
Good for you True Believer.
It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. Proverbs 25:2
I'll give True Believer credit for this. He/she doesn't stop till stumbling onto things. Good for you True Believer. Keep searching! Accident or not, True Believer stumbled onto something I have been meaning to post here for a long time. He/she posted about oil under Israel here.
I held stock (penny stock) in a tiny company called NESS Energy for a long time, in case they would be the ones to find it. For several years I advertised Ness Energy at my penny stock board at: http://TinyStock.com . Part of why I advertised it was to help make it happen (find oil)--if possible.
Then the founder, Hayseed Stephens (Texas oilman) died, and nothing seemed to be getting done (bad luck in drilling for oil in Israel), so I lost interest in Ness and most penny stocks. I do NOT recommend any stock. But should a company come close to hitting oil --I'd take another look. Keep watching the Dead Sea. I've more or less lost interest in my penny stock site also, as it is far more interesting here at BibleProbe. Until True Believer posted today, I forgot I had a penny stock site still up... Willing to sell it if anyone wants it... Ness means "miracle" in Hebrew. Hayseed loved Israel, and he was convinced that scripture spoke of a Gentile being the one to find the oil beneath Israel.
Never-the-less --some oil company just may strike oil in the Dead Sea, and fulfill prophecy. We do know that even today oil oozes from that area from bitumen pits Read the evidence below.. Lord, let's hope it isn't found in Gaza...
Is God speaking in Isaiah 45:3 of both oil under Israel, and/or the Ark of the Covenant? "We know that when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, a great hole blew there, and for 4,000 years, that hole has been called the Dead Sea. It took billions of barrels of oil and trillions of cubic feet of gas to blow that oil strata thousands of feet into the air. It just may be this that rained back down as fire, brimstone and sulfur." I'd imagine oil being found below the Arab wells in Israel would be what it may take to fill up Israel with Jews still scattered.
Around twenty major oil fields are currently producing in the Gulf of Suez which have the same geological environment as probing Oil wells now being dug in the Dead Sea --as we speak. Should any oil company be successful in Israel, they will literally by tapping into (and perhaps controlling them) these Arab oil fields from underneath them! This could make Israel the undisputed "oil master" of the Middle East--something that is nearly assured to increase tensions in the area even more! As Israel blossoms from its new found "oil wealth", the age old question from Revelation concerning the end days could then perhaps be answered. That question is "why the king of the north and its hordes ever want to descend on tiny Israel?" The answer may be—-because Israel will hold the key to the world’s oil!
Israel is God's chosen nation and he has promised them their just inheritance which as of yet they have only partially received. The Bible says of Israel: (ISAIAH 45:3) "And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel." This verse in the original Hebrew then translated states; "I will shoot (gush up) to you (oil) deposits that are stored in valuable dungeon-type containers (oil traps), so that you will know that I am thy Lord the God who called you by name."
Jeremiah 33:7-9 (c. 590 B.C.):
"And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first."
"And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me."
"And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the
prosperity that I procure unto it."
Deuteronomy 33:13 (c. 1451 B.C.):
"And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath."
Oil beneath the Dead Sea and/or Archeological
finds?
Deuteronomy 33:19 (c. 1451 B.C.):
"They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand."
Remember! Everything that was written in scripture was fulfilled and will be fulfilled! But sometimes we just don't have enough facts to interpret it correctly...
