Not once does the bible say you have to 'repent of all of your sins and you will have eternal life.'

How can you repent of ALL OF YOUR SINS. You cannot expect you will never sin again can you?? Can you remember ALL of your sins and then take effective steps never to commit those sins again.

The bible says in 1 Jn 1:8, 10 that no one can claim to be without sins in the Christian life.

The word repent in the passages about eternal life, forgiveness of sins is from the Greek word "metanoia" meaning to change the mind from not believing to believing. Check it out yourself and stop being so arrogant about me not understanding the bible as well as you do. Never does the word repent in the bible refer to a committment to change ones behavior in order to receive eternal life.

Eternal life is a free gift, so being free NOTHING IS REQUIRED EXCEPT TO RECEIVE IT BY BELIEIVING ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE TO SAVE YOU FROM YOUR SINS!! That's it. How hard is that? Why do you make it so complicated? Over 150 passages beginning with John 3:16 say so. Those were Jesus' words not mine!!

Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand, means to change your mind from not believing to believing in Jesus Christ Who is coming to bring in His Kingdom at that time. Check out the site below and see how much bible I know:

Acts 2:1-38 is not a message by Peter to the Jews about repenting from their sins but about the one sin they did commit: crucifying Jesus because they did not believe in Who He is. Hence to repent of this is to change the mind and believe in Him unto forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit and then let each one of them be water baptized. If you bothered to read your bible by yourself, you would have discovered this instead of allowing yourself to be deceived by others.
