i listen to christian rock everyday. there are alot of songs that don't say God or Jesus, but if you listen to the words you will find that there's a positive message in every song. there are lots of ways to show Christ likeness, without having to say God or Jesus. satan has such an influence on our young people that we need to try to reach our young anyway we can. teenagers and young adults love rock and roll. what better way to wittness??? they're going to listen to rock, and there's alot of satanism in rock. so we need to counter-act every and any way we can. i have young adult chrildren and 1 teen-ager. the older kids used to listen to christian rock when they were around 13 or 14, then they drifted to heavy metal and hard alternative. but now that they are older, they've drifted back to alternative christian rock. i thank God everyday for his guidence of my kids. my oldest is married to the sweetest christian girl in the whole world. i couldn't love her more if i had given birth to her. my middle son is getting married to his sweetheart next month. she's also Christian. my youngest son is 5 yrs. younger than the middle son and right now they are positively influencing him at his most impressionable age (15). i believe if you install christianity and Godlyness into them when they are young, they may stray for a while but then they fall back to their roots. and i also thank God everyday for this!! i've never liked heavy metal, but together, we've learned to love alternative Christian rock.
