Has anyone heard of Dr. Asher Kaufman from Hebrew University? He wrote that the Jewish Temple could be built adjacent to the Dome of the Rock. The Holy of Holies, according to his research, was underneath the Dome of the Tablets and Spirits north of the Dome of the Rock. This would align the Holy of Holies with the Eastern Gate. Conceivably, both could exist on the Temple Mount. Of course only God knows for sure how He will bring it all about.
