Before, anyone is made a church leader, the church needs to make sure that of how the person came to Christ, (Born Again) and the person must have at least a few years as a regular Christian first before ever being made any kind of church staff.
The person must be above repoach in all things.
As it is written: 1TI 3:2 Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,
The person must have a valid testimony of his salvation. The person must not be a women. As it is written: 1TI 2:12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.
The person must also be a doer of the Word in all things. The person should give to the poor as well, and be compasionate to others in need and associate with people of low position.
As it is written: RO 12:16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. n Do not be conceited.
The person must not be a new convert - as it is written: 1TI 3:6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil.
There are many requirement with-in biblical guidelines.
Bible Schools will teach any one to become a pastor and such if they have the money. That is why there are so many false people out there.
Only God himself ordains people for certain purposes and reasons. Not a man made school.
