You do not have to read the Bible, if you do not want or understand it. Their are other spiritual books that has been written (easier to understand) by others on the saviors teachings. The Saviors teachings; is to love one another, to do for others and everyone. Religion in the history of man has caused grieve and suffering, as well as division. You are right, we are to love each other regardless of religion, culture, color of skin, etc., for all of us have a spirit/soul that has been created by the same maker (the Father of spirits the source of all who is God)and all of us on Earth come from the spirit world. We are spirits in bodies to live lifes on Earth with the purpose to do good and choose right always, our purpose or our learning on this Earth was never to hurt each other and go into war. To steal, be dishonest, and all negative actions are not of God, these hinder your growth. So many of us, choose and do wrong things on this Earth not realizing how wrong it is for these same things hinder us here. Remember we must follow the Savior in always doing right and choosing right. Remember to watch your words too. Please watch your thoughts and protect it, remember to discern the good thoughts or advice over the ones which guide you incorrectly to choose or do wrong. To lie, to anger, jealousy, envy, etc.,(these were referred by our savior as sins)they are all negative emotions and/or actions which are not of God. The negative ones will make you feel bad or make someone feel bad. To do always good to others. Read his teachings, is not hard to understand. Meditate, and ask on it, ask the Savior to help you, believe me, I assure he lives. We do not die, after this life we ascend back home, which is the spirit world or like some call it the after life. What we do here and how we lived our lives will determine our growth. So read as much as you can, read his teachings it will enlighten your spirit for it knows the truth, ask for guidance in this matter, their will be those helping you on the other side. With much concern, and blessings to come your way.
