I believe the physical temple will never be rebuilt. Jesus plainly told us in regard to it, "no stone will be left upon another." The Temple mount has been defiled by several civilizations. The Romans worshipped pagan gods there. The muslims have also defiled it. There is no need for the temple as there was when it contained the ark of the covenant. The veil of the "Holy of Holies" was wrent(torn down) when Jesus was crucified. When he returns, he will establish his kingdom on earth and will rule with absolute authority.

In regard to the abomination of desolation. Where is the one place on earth that matches the descr1ption given in the Bible of "seven hills?" Where is the "holiest" shrine on earth? It is there where the great liar will appear. He will mimick the life of Jesus as closely as possible for his arrival.John the Baptist heralded the arrival of Jesus, so shall the false-prophet herald the arrival of the great deciever. His plan has been in place for thousands of years, and he has already decieved millions.
